In
"Book Buddies" you
role play as a cheerful, dedicated librarian
who knows that great books are best enjoyed
with others. So, what do you do? You match patrons
up who have similar literary interests, forging
lifelong friendships, that's what! During play,
your goal is to make as many pairs, trios, quartets,
or quintets by either color, or buddy (there
are 10 of each in the game)—scoring more
points for larger groups of book buddies you
make. In addition, there are wild cards (to
make matching easier), and special action cards
(that allow players to take cards away from
you to thwart your efforts). In the end, it's
a super cute game of strategy, timing, and a
little bit of luck. |
