In
"Quarrelsome Creatures"
you begin with a hand of 11 cards (each containing
a different Halloween monster or icon as its
suit, along with a number value) and then proceed
to use them to play through a series of 11 tricks,
in an effort to win the most of them--scoring
1 point for each card collected. The taker of
each previous trick must play the first card
into the next trick, with the remaining players
following suit, and the highest value card winning
it. The kicker? Some suits only have 1 card
that add or subtract points from the trick,
which you must use strategically if you want
to win. It's a fun game for the spookiest of
holidays based on the rules of the classic card
games "euchre" and "hearts." |
